Executive Summary – Maximum 2 pages content and 1 page cover
Cover page should include the following:
Logo (if you have one)
Name of all team members
Email of all team members
Elevator Pitch (Optional) – Maximum 90 seconds
Business Plan – Maximum 15 pages
Submissions should be submitted by an individual or a team of up to five members
All participants MUST be undergraduate students. Teams with graduate students or students not enrolled in a university are not eligible to participate. Teams with member(s) taking a leave of absence are still eligible to participate.
Participants are NOT required to be Carnegie Mellon students. The CMUVC is open to any and all undergraduate students
Submissions should be the individual or teams original work
There is no formal non-disclosure agreement in place for the CMUVC. Participant's executive summaries and business plans will only be seen by the CMUVC planning committee and the judging panel. Neither of those documents will be distributed by the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Association unless explicit permission is received from the team. Teams should be aware that the competition is open to students and faculty and we are not able to require audience members to sign non-disclosure agreements. Confidentiality has never presented a problem in the past and we don't expect any issues to arise from it in the future. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
